MPQ Training have over 20 Associates on its books with a very wide range of skills in a number of industries - here are some pen portraits of a small number of those Associates.

Bob Masterson is the Operations Director and Lead Assessor in the Trainer Training and Security Sector: has a significant background (20+years) in security & justice and in training with the emergency services and with the security industry: is a qualified teacher (Cert Ed), and holds qualifications as an Assessor, Verifier and other training qualifications related to these industries.

Mathew Razzell is the Marketing and Product Development Director Has over 15 years experience in training and development including senior management positions within NatWest, RBS, Direct Line and JPMorgan. Holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Training Management. Significant experience in Marketing & Product Management and business consultancy including Business Process Redesign and Project Management. Specialises in running High Performing Team Programmes.

Paul Bermingham is the Business Development Director and Lead Internal Verifier for the Security Sector: has a significant background (20+years) in security & justice and in training with the emergency services and with the security industry: is a qualified teacher (PGCE), has an MA & PhD and holds qualifications as an Assessor, Verifier and other training qualifications related to these industries.

Andy has worked in the Learning and Development for over 20 years specialising in assessment and verifying, teacher and trainer training and performance needs analysis. He has been actively assessing and verifying in a number of areas including Management, Customer Service, Business and Administration, Learning and Development, Security, Custodial care and Policing. He has run numerous course trainer associates and verifiers as well as training teachers most recently on the PTLLS programmes. He has developed NVQ centres and has a long experience in the research of training and performance needs. His qualifications include an MSc in Training and Performance Management, Certificate in Education, A1, V1 and V2 awards, NVQ Level 4 in Management of the Learning and Development Provision. He holds licentiate membership of the CIPD and is a Fellow of the Institute for Learning.

Colin Greenin has been involved in training and professional development for over 20 years and has been working in the Security and Customer Service sectors for over 26 years, having worked with Bob & Paul for the last 10 of those years. Specialising in security, conflict management and health & safety training, (Colin is both IOSH & CIEH qualified), he has been working at Community Education Lewisham delivering SIA licence-based training for over 3 years, has provided staff training to South Thames College in Putney, has recently been working as a private tutor in mathematics and IT training and is currently working towards his A1 Assessors qualification.

Cynthia is a Lead Assessor commissioned to design, deliver and assess City & Guilds qualifications with particular focus on Spectator Safety and Providing Security Services.She is a highly skilled Project Manager and Assessor Trainer with a wealth of practical hands experience in her chosen specialist fields. Has previously managed a training centre, and has worked for:

She is respected builder and leader of training-focused teams and has a strong commitment to quality assurance and customer service, as a key driver of achieving company objectives. Cynthia has 16 plus years experience in Licensed Retail Management, and is a Personal Licence holder. She is interested in Training and Assessing in Hospitality, Event Stewarding and Business Admin. Currently working towards her Verifier Award (V1) Her hobbies and interests include: Watching Basketball, etc.

Jona Jewitt has been involved in training and development for three years. Jona has an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Counselling and postgraduate qualifications in Forensic Psychology. Specialising in security and custodial care training, Jona has worked for the Home Office and has supplied a number of courses surrounding risk assessment and specialist care of vulnerable clients. In my spare time I like listening to Jazz in seedy basement bars !

Kirsty Wales has qualifications in further education teaching and is an internal verifier and assessor for several training providers in the south east. Since 2006, she has been tutoring and assessing sport and recreation qualifications across the South of England. Her reputation within the industry has been built on the high standards she still maintains. Her passions for riding and keeping fit have allowed her to offer a unique product to help get riders fit and eat more healthily and therefore improve their performance. This has lead to invitations to give talks and demonstrations across the country.

Martin has worked in the public sector for over 28 years coaching individuals and groups to success and has gained vast experience in communication and people skills.

Currently employed by the police service, he is responsible for designing & delivering a wide range of training including, conflict awareness, cultural diversity & human rights, and communication & interview skills. He is also a freelance assessor in a wide range of areas such as training & teaching delivery, support work in schools, security services, customer care and stadium safety.

Since gaining his honours degree in 2007, Martin has gone on to become an NLP master practitioner and life coach. He has made his speciality embedding NLP into training both home and abroad which have included; interview skills and self-development to head teacher groups, fast track teacher training for the National Collage of School Leadership and communication skills to senior officers within the Metropolitan police service. He is a member of the institute for learning.

Martin believes that no one should come away from training without taking something positive from it, but most importantly a smile.

Wendy has been involved in First Aid and Lifeguard training since 1988. Throughout her career as a Facility Manager in the Leisure Industry Wendy was keen to develop her team and pioneered NVQ and industry related training and apprenticeships with the support of local colleges, awarding bodies and other organisations. In 2000 Wendy decided to pursue training full time and worked to improve her skills and diversify the qualifications she could deliver. This change in direction has lead to a variety of opportunities, the most rewarding of which was working for The Metropolitan Police Service, delivering relevant training to front line officers and support staff knowing they will at some point in their service use the skills. Since moving to the Isle of Wight in 2007, Wendy has built good relationships and currently works with St John Ambulance delivering the full remit of training. Operationally on the island St John work closely with the NHS Ambulance Service, Fire Service Co-Responders and Hampshire Police, especially during large festival events.
