MPQ Training was founded in 2003 and is largely involved in the designing, developing and delivery of a wide range of courses. The Directors are Paul Bermingham (PhD, MA, PGCE, DipHyp, GQHP, MITOL, MInstLM, LCGI) and Robert Masterson (Cert Ed, DipHyp, MinstLM, ACQI, LCGI).

The two Directors have nearly fifty years combined experience of dealing with conflict and trauma, including working with emergency services. They have a hands-on approach to training and belong to professional bodies such as Institute of Leadership & Management, Institute of Occupational Learning and possess academic training qualifications such as Certificates in Education and NVQ Assessor & Verifier qualifications.

They have been in the training environment for a number of years and have experienced working in Panama and Dubai.

Their primary role is developing, designing, facilitating, delivering and managing various types of courses and qualifications.

The courses range from management & personal development (e.g. leadership & teambuilding, coaching & mentoring, training trainers, cognitive interviewing etc) to first aid and personal safety type courses.

As a City and Guilds 'centre' MPQ Training possess a portfolio of over fifteen specialist NVQ's with qualifications available within the fields of Policing, Community Wardens, Spectator Safety, Security Guarding, Customer Care, Conflict Management as well as Training, Assessing and Verifying.
